ReSe Applications is committed to produce and distribute state-of-the-art remote sensing applications with special focus on hyperspectral remote sensing. All software is based on IDL (ITT Vis Inc.) technology and is compatible to Windows, Linux, Unix, and Mac OSX through the free IDL Virtual Machine.

Parametric Geocoding and Orthorectification: PARGE

This program performs the direct parametric geocoding and orthorectification of airborne imaging scanners with special focus on imaging spectrometry.

Atmospheric & Topographic Correction: The ATCOR Models

This software family uses Modtran4^® for the full topographic and atmospheric correction of airborne imaging spectrometry and other optical scanner imagery. Three versions of the ATCOR-family are currently distributed by ReSe Applications Schläpfer (see also ATCOR2/3/4 data sheet):

• ATCOR2: atmospheric correction for satellite imagery (flat terrain)
• ATCOR3: geo-atmospheric correction for satellite imagery (rugged terrain)
• ATCOR4: geo-atmospheric correction for wide FOV airborne imagery (flat & rugged terrain)

Modtran^®-4 for Remote Sensing Research: MODO

This program allows the simulation of the spectral radiance in the atmosphere using embedded Modtran^®-4 radiative transfer technology. The MODO software installer is available through our download area. Take a look at the MODO data sheet for a brief information.

Note: MODO and all ATCOR programs are using Modtran^® technology licensed from the United States of America under U.S. Patent No. 5,315,513.

Three license types are available:

education license

sold to universities and schools only, to be used for educational purposes at limited support (no operational processing of data)

research license

sold to research institutes and universities for regular, but non-commercial processing of research data

commercial license

licenses used for operational processing of any kind of data; includes basic software customization and creation of non-exclusive dedicated data interfaces

Free test licenses are available for all software packages upon request.
